Two Spinner Fellows Successfully Defend Their PhDs Theses

In March, two Spinner Fellows, Marco Sensale, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø of Sheffield and Ansys, and Chloe Techens, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø of Bologna and National Center for Spine Disorders, have successfully defended their PhD theses.

Pedicle screw fixation is extensively performed to treat spine injuries. Post-operative complications can lead to back pain or revisions. Finite element models could predict the outcomes of surgeries and test the effect of different screw’s sizes.
