In this Centre for Criminological Research seminar, Dr Gilly Sharpe explores the central themes of her new book, Women, Stigma and Desistance from Crime: Precarious Identities in the Transition to Adulthood (Routledge, 2024), followed by comments and discussion by two readers, Professor Loraine Gelsthorpe (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø of Cambridge) and Dr Claire Fitzpatrick (Lancaster ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø). The panel will be chaired by Professor Gwen Robinson (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø of Sheffield). The seminar will be followed by a drinks reception to celebrate the publication of Gilly's book.
