Sue joined the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø of Sheffield in 2024 as Professor and Head of Pharmacy to lead the development of the Sheffield MPharm programme.
Before this, she worked at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø of East Anglia (2003-2024) as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor. During this time she also served as the Associate Dean for Admissions for the Faculty of Science (2011-2016) and Chair of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø South Eaat Asia Dialogue Group (2015-2023).
From 2001-2003 she was the Kinerton Lecturer of Organic Chemistry at Trinity College, Dublin, following post-doctoral experience in Oxford (inorganic Chemistry Laboratory), Germany (Johannes Gutenberg Universität, Mainz) and the Czech Republic (Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Prague).
Sue holds an Honorary Professorship at Nguyen Tat Thanh ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Vietnam.
Sue has been a registered pharmacist since 1992.

Sue’s current research interests lie in pedagogy.
Projects within the UK focus on widening participation and the use of online blended learning in Pharmacy.
